Tina enjoys working with emerging adult and adult populations. Her work integrates several modalities including Person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In her work with individuals, she uses a collaborative approach because she recognizes that the client is the expert in their own life. Tina strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel comfortable expressing their true selves. In her work with individuals, she values helping them reconnect with what is meaningful in their lives.
As each person presents with a unique set of strengths and challenges, Tina believes clients deserve a personalized approach that supports them in achieving their treatment goals. When working with clients she prioritizes their needs, encourages personal growth, and invites individuals to build upon their strengths. Tina believes that success in therapy results from understanding what is not working and then finding the best way to move forward despite existing challenges.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, spending time outdoors, and taking her two Cavalier Spaniels for their daily walk(s).
