Training: Boston College (M.A. in Mental Health Counseling), McLean Hospital OCD Institute (Internship)

Katrina is a licensed mental health counselor with a humanistic, person-centered approach to therapy. Katrina believes that therapy should be a collaborative and affirming space where you can feel comfortable, seen, and supported as your whole self.

Katrina is experienced in helping individuals align with their values system and move toward a meaningful life, while changing their relationship to challenging symptoms and barriers that keep them feeling stuck. Her work is informed by evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapies such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Katrina works with adolescents, young adults, and adults to improve the quality of their lives.

Katrina attended Soka University of America for her undergraduate degree in Humanities. She attended Boston College for her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She received additional training at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute, and then served the greater Boston area via community mental health, before coming to MindWell.

When not at work, Katrina can be found caring for her houseplants or spending time with her two pugs.
