Dr. Emma Wilkinson is a clinical psychologist completing her post-doctoral fellowship at MindWell. She specializes in providing evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and emerging adults with developmental differences, including autism, ADHD, and cognitive disabilities. Dr. Wilkinson has expertise in working with individuals and families to address co-occurring mental health concerns, executive functioning challenges, and behavioral issues.
Dr. Wilkinson takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. She utilizes positive behavior supports, mindfulness techniques, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients meet their goals. Dr. Wilkinson is a strong advocate for neurodiversity and highly values identity-affirming care, striving to create a therapeutic space that is accepting and inclusive of all her clients.
Her past research has focused on parent-mediated interventions, understanding co-occurring mental health conditions in autistic youth, and the psychological impact of autism stigma.
In her free time, Dr. Wilkinson loves to cook, read fiction, hike, paddleboard, and play with her cat.
