Amy Nylund is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She takes a person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach, creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered. Amy emphasizes cultural humility and anti-oppressive care and actively seeks client feedback to ensure therapy is meaningful and effective.
She draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Amy provides Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for clients with OCD. Amy supports clients in tending to their emotional health, identifying and living in alignment with their personal values, and connecting with supportive community resources.
